ART PRACTICE covers visual art techniques used by artists to express their moods and feelings or record
their life experiences. At Evelyn College of Design, our Art Practice course delves extensively with a bias
to painting and sculpture. The trainees are exposed to the tools, materials and process involved in
production of paintings and sculptures. They also dig into the historical development of these
techniques to identify the art movements and styles while familiarizing with globally
acclaimed/renowned personalities in history and contemporary. Trainees are exposed to the local art
scene through fieldwork where they interact one–on-one with industry players. This is extended further
through collaborative projects with the institutions visited.
